TLIF0005 Apply a fatigue risk management system
This unit equips heavy vehicle drivers with the skills to manage fatigue and work safely in the Transport and Logistics industry.
It covers fatigue risk management, recognising and addressing fatigue signs, complying with work and rest limits, planning trips, and maintaining records. Work is performed with some supervision, either as a solo operator or in a team.
Legislative requirements, including the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), apply. Completing this unit is required for National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) Fatigue Management Accreditation but is only one of several criteria. Applicants should verify with NHVR before training.
