This is a qualification for those engaged in driving operation job roles within the transport and logistics industry.

It involves a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, with some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures and within known time constraints.

For this course there is fee-free training via the Smart and Skilled funding approved in NSW for eligible employees in NSW:

• employed less than 3 months full-time or less than 6 months part-time
• 15 years or older
• no longer at school
• Australian citizen, permanent resident, NZ passport holder and lived in Aus for 6+ months or some eligible visa holdersEmployers may also be eligible for incentives such as workers comp exemptions.
